About us
Through this initiative, we will raise funds through events, workshops, campaigns and fundraisers to support mental health and suicide prevention organizations, ensuring that Kelly’s spirit of generosity and compassion lives on in the communities that need it most.
But our mission goes beyond just donating to organizations. As part of our commitment to those grieving sudden and profound loss, we will also begin providing financial assistance to 1-2 individuals per year, starting in 2026, who are navigating the difficult journey of grief. Losing Kelly on June 3, 2024, turned my world upside down and the grief of losing someone so integral in my life was so overwhelming, that it debilitated me in ways I never imagined. In my own grief, I found myself longing for the space to truly feel the weight of my emotions, to grieve without the pressure of "normal life" and all its demands—especially financial ones. I wanted to step away, to focus solely on the pain and healing, but my responsibilities made that impossible.
This experience inspired my new mission: to provide grieving individuals the grace of time—the time to feel their grief fully and attempt to heal, without the burden of financial stress. We want to give grievers the space to process their pain in a supportive environment so they can eventually return to life more emotionally and mentally balanced, ready to move forward when they have a bit more courage to.
To be eligible for this financial assistance, individuals must be grieving the loss of a loved one and be within the first **three years** of their loss. Applications for financial relief are required, and can be submitted via email to info@findingfelicitynj.com. Our goal is to help you through this incredibly difficult time so that you can regain the stability and peace you need to move forward in a way that feels right for you.
